Some special situations:
Under 25? Income under $50,000? Individual returns start at $99 or, with cryptocurrency, at $149.
Those with extremely simple returns consisting only of W-2, 1099-SSA, 1099-INT, and/or unemployment will be billed at a reduced rate of $179.
Seniors who need to file MA Form 1 only, for the circuit breaker credit, will be billed $50.
